FeLV+ Cat Adoption and Care

Tree House Humane Society is one of several shelters in the United States that has an adoption program for cats diagnosed with feline leukemia (FeLV). Fortunately, the number of shelters with FeLV+ adoption programs is growing as we learn more and resources become more readily available. If you are interested in adopting a FeLV+ cat but want to learn more, read our fact sheet below. Overall, cats who are FeLV+ are just like any other cat and require the same care. And just like any other cat, they will also return the same love and companionship to you.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any additional questions. If you are a shelter interested in creating your own FeLV+ adoption program, contact info@treehouseanimals.org for more information.
