Community Pop-Ups

Stay tuned for additional 2024 Pop-Up dates! Our services are designed to remove barriers to veterinary care in specific communities: Humboldt Park and South Shore.

At our pop-ups, we provide:

  • Free Rabies and Distemper vaccinations by a veterinarian
    • Rabies 12 weeks of age and older
    • Distemper 6 weeks of age and older
  • Free microchipping
  • Help with pet care, leashes, and pet food, while supplies last

Pet owners must keep dogs on a leash and cats must be in carriers.

We reserve the right to deny services if an animal can not be safely handled.

These events don’t take pre-registration! It’s all first-come, first-served. We reserve the right to prioritize patients from the neighborhood zip codes.

Rabies and distemper vaccines and microchipping for cats and dogs, dog toy giveaways, pet care, food, leashes, and pet portraits. Human services such as housing, mental health, and physical health will be available.

Summer 2023 Community Impact

This summer, we hosted four community pop-ups in the communities of South Shore and Humboldt Park. By the end of the summer, we served over 450 dogs and over 150 cats! We distributed 3,000 pounds of dog and cat food and provided over 300 microchips to pets in the community!

This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the support of our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and the incredible communities we serve.
