Tree House Delivers Love This Holiday Season
This December, adopters are invited to celebrate the arrival of their new feline family member with a personal kitty delivery by Saffy Claws and her team of Tree House elves.
Harnessing the magic of the holiday season, Tree House is excited to offer a unique experience for families welcoming new pets this season and believes this will be a great option for parents looking to surprise their children with the kitty they’ve been asking for all year long or individuals who know their significant other, friend, or family member has been looking to adopt and feel confident in their ability to find a good match for them.
“Studies like this 2014 investigation completed by the ASPCA have revealed that receiving a pet as a gift from a loved one does not decrease the amount of care and love that pet will receive,” said Tree House’s Shelter Manager Danielle Case. “With this in mind, our counselors are trained and prepared to help those giving the gift of a pet to do so carefully and thoughtfully. In addition, Tree House will be available to answer all of our adopters questions or concerns through the transition of welcoming a new pet into their homes.” For those who are unsure of whether a loved one would enjoy the gift of a pet or which cat to adopt for them, Tree House offers gift cards that can be purchased for the full price of adoption.
On December 12-13, 19-20, and 26-27, adopters are invited to visit the shelter during regular open hours to choose their new feline family member and reserve their delivery for the following, corresponding Saturday. Deliveries, completed on Saturday December 14, 21, and 29, can be reserved for a $100 fee (in addition to regular adoption fees) and will include a Sleepypod Cat Carrier and visit from Saffy Claws.
Tree House has partnered with Sleepypod to provide each adopter receiving a kitty delivery with a transformative Sleepypod pet bed, carrier, and car seat, all in one luxurious package. Valued at approximately $300 each, Sleepypod generously donated these mobile beds to Winter Wonderlove participants.
