CAT ADOPTION AT TREE HOUSE

Tree House is open for adoptions from 12 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Adoptions are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Guests whose meet-and-greets begin after 5 p.m. may be unable to complete the adoption process on the same day.

When you adopt your new friend, you will help stray cats with no one else to depend on. Each year, Tree House places nearly 1,000 cats into loving homes, each deserving of a safe, healthy, and caring second chance. In return, these furry new family members will provide lifelong companionship to the lucky people who take them home.

THE CAT’S WORLD AT TREE HOUSE

All Tree House cats receive comprehensive veterinary care from our in-house veterinary clinic, including neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and treatment of known health issues. Nearly a third of the cats who come to Tree House have special needs and serious health issues. Tree House’s shelter clinic is focused on providing exceptional medical care to vulnerable populations of cats such as kittens, nursing moms, and sick or injured strays on their way to adoption.

While cats reside at Tree House, they live in colonies of six to eight cats in sun-filled rooms with multiple perches, ample food and water, toys, and even a “catio” (an enclosed cat patio where they can get fresh air and experience the sounds and smells of the outdoors).
