ADOPTION AT TREE HOUSE
Tree House is open for walk-in adoptions from 12 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Adoptions are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. The adoption process typically takes about one hour. Guests arriving after 5 p.m. may not be able to complete the adoption process on the same day.
When you adopt your new friend, you will help stray cats who have no one else to depend on. Each year, Tree House places nearly 1,000 cats into loving homes, each one deserving of a safe, healthy, and caring second chance. In return, these furry new family members will provide lifelong companionship to the lucky people who take them home.
THE CAT’S WORLD AT TREE HOUSE
All cats receive comprehensive veterinary care, including neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations, as well as treatment of any known health issues from our in-house veterinary clinic. Nearly a third of the cats who come to Tree House have special needs and serious health issues. Tree House’s clinic staff, along with our dedicated volunteer foster parents, help these cats regain their health and get ready for adoption.
While cats reside at Tree House, they live in colonies of six to eight cats in sun-filled rooms with multiple perches, ample food and water, toys and even a “catio” (an enclosed cat patio where they can get fresh air and experience the sounds and smells of the outdoors).
