ADOPTION INFORMATION
Tree House is open for adoptions from 12 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Adoptions are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
Guests whose meet-and-greets begin after 5 p.m. may be unable to complete the adoption process on the same day.
ADOPTING A CAT: WHAT TO EXPECT
When you arrive at Tree House, visit our front desk to complete an adoption survey. Our adoption and support counselors will review your survey and invite you to meet our cats on a first-come, first-served basis. If there are visitors ahead of you, we’ll provide an estimated wait time—feel free to explore our Tree House store or visit the Cat Café for a beverage while you wait!
Once it’s your turn, here’s what to expect:
Getting Started (5 min): Fill out an adoption survey. Based on your survey results, our adoption counselors will select up to three cats to meet that best match your lifestyle.
Meet-and-Greet (30 min): Spend time with each cat while adoption counselors share key health and behavior info.
Quality Time (10 min): Enjoy one-on-one time with your favorite cat, ask questions, and confirm adoption.
Paperwork & Payment (30 min): Sign adoption forms, receive care info, and complete payment.
Adoption (10 min): Staff prepares your cat for the journey home—congrats on adopting your new furry friend!
CATS IN FOSTER HOMES

PLACING A HOLD ON A CAT
To ensure fairness and prioritize the well-being of our resident cats, holds are only available during in-person meet-and-greets with an adoption counselor at our shelter. If you’re interested in adopting a cat you’ve seen on our website or social media, we encourage you to visit us as soon as possible.
