Veterans and members of military families will share a curated collection of original poems and stories exploring the unique—and sometimes unexpected—ways cats enter our lives. Created in collaboration with Line of Advance, the program moves between humor and tenderness, loss and companionship, revealing how cats can bring comfort, connection, and meaning during times of change.

Created in recognition of World Mental Health Day, Nine Lives, Many Stories is a new Tree House storytelling series exploring the many ways cats become part of our lives and what those relationships can teach us about connection, resilience, healing, and belonging.

This inaugural event begins a series of future gatherings exploring themes such as cats and mental health, creativity, community, and the cats who change us.
