Cat Walk: Feline-Inspired Fashion Show
Get ready for the Tree House Cat Walk—a bold, joyful celebration where fashion, creativity, and cats collide! Presented by My Neighborhood Vet and Tom & Mary Prescott, this feline-inspired runway event showcases looks from boutiques, local designers, and everyday fashion brands, all reimagined through a cat-loving lens.
After selling out last year, Cat Walk is moving to an exciting new venue along the Chicago River. Cat Walk isn’t just a fashion show; it’s a reminder that when mission, community, and imagination come together, we can turn the everyday into something extraordinary.
My Neighborhood Vet has served pet families in our local community since 2020, using Fear Free Principles to treat cats and dogs with empathy and kindness. Founder of My Neighborhood Vet and Board Emeritus Dr. Ross Mahowald serves on Tree House’s Board of Directors, where he is a member of the Access to Care Committee.
Tom & Mary Prescott have supported Tree House Humane Society for more than thirty years, demonstrating their longstanding commitment to animal welfare. Tom served on Tree House’s Board of Directors from 2009 to 2016, including as Treasurer, and previously served on the board of The Animal Care League of Oak Park. Their two cats, Kermit and Tippy, and their dog, Bella permit Tom & Mary to cohabitate with them at their home in Glen Ellyn.
