FIND LOVE AT tree house

When you adopt your new friend, you will help stray cats who have no one else to depend on. Each year, Tree House places nearly 1,000 cats into loving homes, each one deserving of a safe, healthy, and caring second chance. In return, these furry new family members will provide lifelong companionship to the lucky people who take them home.

The Cats’ World at Tree House

While cats reside at Tree House, they live in colonies of six to eight cats in sun-filled rooms with multiple perches, ample food and water, toys and even a “catio” (an enclosed cat patio where they can get fresh air and experience the sounds and smells of the outdoors). All cats receive comprehensive veterinary care, including neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations, as well as treatment of any known health issues from our in-house veterinary clinic. Nearly a third of the cats who come to Tree House have special needs and serious health issues. Tree House’s clinic staff, along with our dedicated volunteer foster parents, help these cats regain their health and get ready for adoption.

BRING A CAT HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

This year, give a cat the gift of a loving home! As the days get colder, adding a furry friend to your home can bring warmth to your laps and your hearts. While they’re happy at the shelter, nothing beats a big stretch by the fireplace, chasing a bell toy down a hallway, or curling up for a family nap.

In memory of longtime volunteer Don Hill, the adoptions of the following cats are fully sponsored!

Every one of these cats would make a loving and perfect addition to your home! Meet them on our Adoptable Animals page and make an appointment to take one home today.

REGARDING KITTENS

You may have seen some cute kittens on our social media feeds! That’s because it’s kitten season, when mother cats typically give birth and our volume of kittens drastically increases. While we’re eager to get these kittens into homes, they are not adoptable right away. We send kittens home with our trusted foster volunteers, who care for them in safe and secure environments while they grow old enough for basic medical care.

We know how cute they are, and our kittens are very popular! Check here to ensure the cat you’re eager to meet is available for adoption before making your appointment.

BEFORE YOU ADOPT…

Make sure you read all about our adoption process and requirements.

  • We release new adoption appointments weekly, and do not accept appointments for more than two weeks in advance.
  • We do not place holds on cats before an adoption appointment.
  • We work hard to connect you with a cat that fits your home and lifestyle.
